ABOUT ME ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE MYSELF
My name is Norma Gomez. I am a Web Developer, UI Developer and Online Business Consultant based in Auckland – New Zealand.
I used to work as a Systems Analyst, I studied System Analyst and Programmer at the UNI in Lima Peru – which is very different from what I’m doing right now!
I’m thrilled with the new technologies to build websites, and that’s why I decided to pursue my web development career.
Results-oriented, innovative and accurate Web Developer with more than 10 years of experience building various types of websites in WordPress front end and backend.
My speciality is full website strategy, design, and development, I have a passion for working with Adobe products; Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, and After Effects and I keep learning more and more every day.
As I have knowledge of graphic design, the websites I develop look very dynamic.

Gather information every day from WHO, Science information from The Lancet, BBC News, Observatories activities and another platform regarding TB and Covid illness. After my research, I have to translate English to Spanish details on the website regarding Tuberculosis in the Americas and Covid .in the world.

- Analyzed client requirements for the website.
- Created web applications to support website functions.
- Designed a proxy server to act as a backup for confidential files.

- Add new publications related to Tuberculosis which is a global threat. We are part of the TB Coalition team and we are funded by the Global Fund.
- Collect images, videos, audios, photographs which are worked with technology for publication, as well as translations from English to Spanish or vice versa.
- I take care of Social Media, set up accounts, develop the strategies, generate content, grow our audience and manage your entire social media presence.

This company’s marketing was done by expensive catalogues and was distributed to all states in North America for 30 years. With the website-size images, the company made a significant profit and began selling through the website for the first time.
- During this period I worked at least 10,000 images, changing backgrounds, cleaning, retouch, I gained experience in Photoshop and all Adobe products.
- I also translated the Website into Spanish. Furthermore, I interacted with FoxPro Database to upload images and information.
Leiva Contratistas – Peru- Web Developer / System Analyst
April 2000 until Dec 2005
A pioneer company in the manufacturer of raised flooring and modular systems in Peru.
- I started as a Systems Analyst, seeing if it was feasible to manufacture false floors for computer centres.
- When all the conditions for manufacturing were met, the tools of the time were advertised on the Internet.
- I work with photos, updating layouts and navigation structures. To do this, I used HTML, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and other tools.
Procolor – Peru -System Analyst
Transnational corporation, Fujifilm Peru Branch.
- Examine internal IT controls, evaluate the design and operational effectiveness, determine exposure to risk and develop remediation strategies.
- Plan, implement monitor and migration of System 34 to AS400 D20.

- Communicate complex technical issues in simplified terms to the relevant staff.
- Perform regular audit testing and provide recommendations.
